Handling Account, ad, or Page Restrictions
Especially when creating a new ad account, ad campaign, or page, Meta occasionally restricts these assets on Facebook as a security measure, although you're not breaching any of Metaās policies.
You can find Meta's official advertising guidelinesĀ here.
Based on our experience in consumer acquisition via this platform, we have prepared recommendations for when such incidents occur.
Ad Rejection
If you're acquiring traffic via Facebook and Instagram for your consumer demand test, ad rejection by Meta will interrupt new visitors to your landing pages. We're trying to provide recommendations on how you should best approach this:
āļø What you should do now
- Try to identify the reason for the rejection.
- You can find information about this and the potential reason for the rejection in theĀ account qualityĀ tab of your Facebook business manager.
- If the reason provided is specific enough, edit your ads or create a new one to comply with the reason for the rejection, and request another review of your ads.
- If the reason is not specific enough, you should request another review of your ads immediately.
- You can find information on both cases inĀ this article.
- Reach out to Meta's support team in any case, specifying that your ads got rejected. You can submit a support ticket inĀ this sectionĀ of your Facebook account.
- You should be able to get your ads and therefore landing page test going again within the next 48 hours. This is not a guarantee but an estimate based on our experience.
Ad Account disabled
If you're acquiring traffic via Facebook and Instagram for your consumer demand test, Meta's ad account rejection will interrupt your campaigns and, therefore, no new visitors to your landing pages. We're trying to provide recommendations on how you should best approach this:
